Located in Carlton North, Judy Dunlop (Dip. Cons, M.A. Fine Art) has over 25 years of industry experience in Australia and Great Britain.

Judy is a skilled conservator who has worked in both the public and private sector.  She has worked on traditional and contemporary artworks as well as aboriginal barks and paintings. Judy's work includes cleaning, lining, repairing damges, mould and insect infestation and re-touching.  She also undertakes condition reporting and provides quotes for treatment.  Her rates are very reasonable.

Judy has worked for galleries such as the National Gallery of Victoria, Ballarat & Geelong Art Galleries, New Norcia Museum & Art Gallery and many private collectors.

Experience & Qualifications

Judy Dunlop (Dip. Cons, MA Fine Art) is currently a self employed paintings conservator, who has a range of clients including institutions, dealers and private collectors.

She has worked for Ian Potter Conservation Department in Melbourne, International Fine Art Conservation Studio in Bristol, Queensland Art Gallery and the North West Area Museum Service, Blackburn, Lancs.

Judy's versatility has led to her working on a variety of projects including a large contemporary acrylic painting in the ceiling of Raheen mansion in Melbourne and lined, cleaned and inpainted 18th century works by artists such as Van Dyck for the Earl Of Pembroke (near Salisbury UK).
